A cloverbud chapter for ages 5-8 (if they fall between the birthdays listed on the 4-H guidelines) will begin TODAY at the firehouse in Smoot.
**I did reach out to the group leader and they are still having their meeting this afternoon!
We hope some of our little guys can make it out! 😀

Appleblossom the Possum by Holly Goldberg Sloan is this year’s One School, One Book at Crichton Elementary—and our students are loving it!
Thanks to a generous parent volunteer from Ms. Holliday’s 1st grade class, every student now has their very own book club shirt to make weekly read-alouds even more exciting.
Wearing the shirts turns reading time into something special—like being part of a team! It’s amazing to see how a simple idea can make reading feel cool, social, and fun.

One of the most touching traditions at Crichton Elementary is when our young students create and fill Christmas gift bags for residents in our local nursing homes. 🎄❤️
This simple act of kindness not only brings joy to seniors who may feel lonely during the holidays, but also helps our students learn the importance of empathy, generosity, and community.
Gift bags were delivered yesterday to residents in both Rainelle and Rupert, and we hope each one enjoys a warm and wonderful Christmas!

Did you know that over two billion people worldwide regularly include insects in their diets? 🦗 Students in Crichton Elementary’s after-school program wrapped up their insect unit with 4-H leader Robin in a truly adventurous way—by tasting chocolate-covered crickets and bugs!
Reactions were priceless: some said “never again,” while others thought it was a fun and tasty experience! 🤮😋
