Crichton Elementary School students took part in a hands-on health initiative designed to support young learners and reinforce classroom lessons. Led by WVSOM second-year students and New River CTC nursing students, the program was coordinated with Aetna Better Health of West Virginia and Greenbrier County Family Resource Network.
Students enjoyed interactive activities, including a visit from Dr. Ted E. Bear, and grades 3–5 received take-home bags with health resources to continue the conversation and learning at home. The initiative aims to connect classroom learning with real-world health practices and empower students to make informed choices about their well-being.
